Deep down, I consider myself a seeker, someone driven by curiosity and thirst for knowledge. Being a seeker can mean different things to different people, but for me, it is a curiosity about things unknown, a yearning to uncover the potential in uncertainty, and delving into the mysteries that surround us in the service growth and of expanding myself and my relationships. My interests span across various fields such as Eastern philosophy, quantum physics, brain/mind functioning, spirituality, and love and compassion. Oh, by the way, I am also a clinical psychologist that has practiced for over 25 years specializing in working with couples.
The first 15 years, in addition to private practice, I worked in various agencies running training programs for doctoral students and doing supervision. During this time, I also worked as the Clinical Director in two agencies and managed other supervising psychiatrists, psychologists, and marriage and family therapists.
For the past 15 years, I have worked exclusively in private practice. Because I have worked in various environments over the years, I find my work with people both challenging and rewarding. I am frequently reminded of the courage that people find within themselves to improve their lives and to find a better path.
My practice is comprised of about 50% couples/marital therapy and 50% individual and family work.
